Re: Your memories of Spurs away?
We used to get a few wins there in the 90s still as we also did at Arsenal and Chelsea... They're all fucking miles and miles ahead of us now and so they're a rarity now...

The two wins there last year were great but I only went to the League Cup one - don't remember much as I was pissed as a fart...

Best win there in my life-time must've been the 4-1 victory in '94 - although I didn't go as I was way off drinking age and my Dad didn't want me spoiling his huge piss-up with his mates...

I was in the Shelf with a Spurs mate. They were digging out a well known U5 ginger fan (nickname begins with W) and after that, complete mayhem. After the game, went for a drink in the Corner Pin, about 30 Spurs in there, all of a sudden someone shouts out 'F***k, there's Cass ( he was peering through the window). I've never seen so many geezers shit themselves. Also went there when Sheffield Weds. was postponed. The Scousers were let out first but wouldn't go out the ground funnily enough! Someone mentioned that situation didn't happen a lot. It did!. Boxing day late '80s home to Chelsea postponed. Arsenal home to Spurs. Not many of us in the Clock end but plenty in eastside (?) having it!

1984 Boxing Day was a good one 2-0 down pulled it back ( not the foreskin) to 2-2 with Goodard getting a late equaliser I think and jumping on the fence at our section going mental and jumping all over each other.

Of course the Shelf was taken again that day as well.

I was in the home end for that. Very difficult to restrain myself when the goals went in. Quite a few couldn't!

0-3 last year.

Spurs fans not allowed to say the workd Yid.

Morrison went through them like Michael Owen in 1998 against Argentina.

When Morrison scored someone let off an orange smoke flare and a copper got shoved in the back and went tumbling down the stairs in the lower tier.

That was such a funny day. Hahaha.

It could have been a couple of hundred, remember talking to the scouse through the fence and they couldn't believe the audacity of the situation. Having half the away end and the spuds in the shelf were going spastic.

Good days....

Only been to WHL once and that was during 92-93 season when we won 4-1

Trevor Morley and Steve Jones were immense that day

Epsom- good shout. Forgot about that one.
Yeh, werent the sheffield game snowed off.

Remember walking fm seven sisters, singing "Liverpool, Liverpool" then as the front wheels came out the corner pin, we started singing bubbles and chased em everywhere.
Funny in the ground (we had half the park lane and there was 3 lots of songs going on). The players didnt know what was happening.

Then there was more rows after down seven sisters again.
I thought there was a good few hundred of us.
Mind you, the memory's going a bit.

Good times.

2-1 at WHL in '99

Sat in the home end adjacent to the away section - plenty of fellow irons sat amongst us and a fair few ejected after Keller's goal.

Great day out

Re: Your memories of Spurs away?
Sheffield Wednesday away was called off and about 150 of us went to Spurs v Liverpool.

The OB went berserk, we got half the away end, the scousers squeezed into the remaining half.

Not sure that has ever been done before or since.

We were large and in charge that day!

Anyone else there that day? Great fun.

Re: Your memories of Spurs away?
Yep, the Youth Cup, the Psycho 4-0, the Lineker one and a testimonial one when it went off (Perryman or Barry Daines?). Think it was on a Sunday.

Appy days!

Leroy I was directly above where that was filmed, right next to their lot. Mouthiest cunts in the world when they went one up.
They reckon we don't mean fuck all to them but they talk bollocks, seeing their faces after that goal was hilarious.
Funny before the game as well with all the balaclavas and this mad Russian cunt that tagged along with us. Straight out the gym still with all his wraps round his hands.

Boxing Day 85, snow everywhere, felt like minus 10 and we were flying at the time. 18 game unbeaten run going into that match and we lost 1-0, Steve Perryman of all players scored the only goal, bastards

Crass, Bom

Yeah I was there that night too. Fucking wild. Hundreds of Spurs on the side of the pitch when it kicked off on the shelf. Remember those seats flying. Got on the tube after and loads of west ham were smashing it to bits. Bedlam.

Miss that.
